According to cricket match schedule, T20 World Cup would be played on three grounds namely Providence Stadium Guyana, Beausejour Cricket Ground St. Lucia, Kensington Oval Barbados. St Lucia and Barbados will contribute the most. Details of each one of the above are given below :-
Providence Stadium Guyana
The ground was established in the year 2006. It has capacity of around 15,000 people with the flloodlight facility.
Beausejour Cricket Ground St. Lucia
Beausejour Cricket Ground was once known as Beausejour Stadium situated in Gros Islet, St. Lucia, West Indies. The ground was established in the year 2002 with the capacity of 15,000 ( raising it to 20000). Location of the ground is very scenical i-e it lies nearby the Beausejour hills. End names are Pavilion end and Media Center End.
Kensington Oval, Barbados
Kensington Oval was established in the year 1871, century gone, guys!.However it was rebuilt in the year 2006 for 2007 world cup. It has the capacity of around 28,000 people,. Floods light were made available in 2009. Malcolm Marshall End and Joel Garner End are two ends. It was earlier known as Pickwick Cricket Club.
